Tragedy--
Serious work of literature that narrates an event.
tragic hero--
the main character in a tragedy
Theme-
The subject of a talk, a piece of writing, a person's thoughts, or an exhibition; a topic
Conflict-
a serious disagreement or argument
personification-
when an author uses living traits to describe non-living things
Comic Relief--
when there is sad or depressing events the author may use comedy to lighten the mood of the readers.
Simile-
a comparison using like or as

obvious exaggeration
Flat characters-
A character is the representation of a person in a narrative or dramatic work of art

An act of speaking one's thoughts aloud when by oneself or regardless of any hearers, esp. by a character in a play
